FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (AGES 16-25):


 
 

Launch Your Career in Live Entertainment - Lighting, Audio, Video, Stagehand, Set Construction and Management

Our 11-month program helps young adults in the Boston area explore and launch careers in the live entertainment industry. We offer two tracks based on your age and experience level:


High School Track

For Boston Public Schools students, age 16+
A hands-on career exploration program for students interested in learning about different creative jobs behind the scenes in live entertainment.

This career exploration programs helps you learn about jobs  in the entertainment industry with:

  • Paid, hands-on training

  • Paid, internships

  • Community building and career exploration events



Career Track

For young adults ages 18 - 25 who:

  • Live in the Boston area

  • Are not enrolled in a 4-year college

  • Do not already have a college degree

This college alternative helps you get started in the entertainment industry with:

  • 1:1 career coaching

  • Paid, hands-on training

  • Paid, internships

  • Community building and career exploration events

  • OSHA 10 safety training


How It Works

Step 1: Apply

Applications reopen in March 2026 - we’ll post the link here when it’s live! In the meantime, apply to be on our waiting list here - 2026 Waitlist

Step 2: Interview

We’ll get to know you—and you’ll learn more about the program.

Step 3: Summer Training (Paid!)

A required, two-week hands-on training intensive to kick off your journey.

Step 4: Ongoing Training

Once or twice a month, you’ll take part in workshops co-led by employers. These include:

  • Creative & technical skills training

  • Health & wellness resources

  • Financial education for artists

Step 5: Paid Internship

When you're ready, you’ll be matched with a professional, paid internship at one of our partner organizations (September - June).
