WHAT IS BRIGHTER BOSTON?

It's a vocational training and internship program, where you get paid to work on professional theatre, concerts, and special events.
It's a chance to learn valuable skills and start a career in a high-level industry.
It's open to Boston youth, age 16-24

WHY DO WE DO IT?
IT'S PRETTY SIMPLE.
There aren’t many opportunities for young adults to be connected to careers they are passionate about.
Most jobs are filled through personal and professional connections - connections that can be unavailable to folks not attending college, and to communities historically shut out of creative industries.
More than just a training program, we are a coalition of young people, theater/events companies, venues, and events professionals that believe Boston’s youth should shape the future of the entertainment industry.
Working backstage on professional theatre and concerts, youth practice hard work, communication, leadership, and art - and all on tight deadlines.
It's a simple concept with a huge outcome: Young people discover success within themselves and find a valuable role to play in the world.
